As you will have all seen seed has been sown on our number one green. Unfortunately adverse weather has slowed down progress. We are happy with the progress to date but we will not have it playable until around late December. A fertilising programme will start within the week and once that is completed we should be able to commence rolling and mowing the green.
The replacement of the green is a huge investment in our future. After consultation with the experts a decision has been made to cancel the next session of Twilight Bowls. All is not lost though as we will replace twilight with “Community Roll Up Bowls” for 6 Thursdays from 6th November 2025 on the bottom green, registration not required. This will be $5 per night per player, just turn up, if you don’t have an established team thats fine too as we will randomly put teams together. Early October we will advertise more information on Community Bowls.
